You can put this solution on YOUR website! good job you have the right Idea but you are supposed to find the x coordinate so you need to get ridof the Y and add. there for you have to multiply the first equation by 3 and the second by 5. so you get for the first equation
12x+15y=24 and for the second equation you get
10x-15y=-90 now you need to add them. the y's cancel so you get
22x+0y=-66 now solve for x multiply 0*y so you get 0 then you divide 22 by both sides you get x=-3.
