You can put this solution on YOUR website!
When adding polynomials, do i add the exponents together also:
No, you don't.
-----------
ex:(x^2+x+1)+(2x-9x^2)=? my answer was: 3x^3-5x^2-5x
----------
(x^2+x+1)+(2x-9x^2)
Add x^2 terms --> -8x^2
Add x terms --> 3x
-------------------
--> -8x^2 + 3x + 1

not even close.
You add the terms with like exponents.
So 7a^2-3a^2=4a^2
