Let x, x+1 & x+2 be the three consecutive numbers.
3x=2(x+1)+4
3x=2x+2+4
3x-2x=6
x=6 ans. for the first number.
Proof:
3*6=2(6+1)+4
18=2*7+4
18=14+4
18=18
