Since you CANNOT take the log of a negative number or zero, this means that the argument cannot be equal to zero or less than zero. In other words, if 2x-7%3C=0, then the log isn't defined. Solve for 'x' to get x%3C=7%2F2. So 'x' cannot be in the interval (-∞, 7/2]
