I already know the answer, but how do I find out which one it is? Can you show me please? The correct answer is B, Here is what I got so far.
3[7x-4(x-3)]+1 Rewrite problem.
3[7x-4x+12]+1 Distribute the -4
3[3x+12]+1 Combine like terms.
That's as far as I got, I do not know where to come from here. Thank you for your time to help me.

None of them has x=16
I really don't know what you want.
I certainly have no clue what you are doing here
3[7x-4(x-3)]+1=16
nor where you got it. But it looks like you may have combined a couple equations.
