Let 2nd be "2x" cm.
Then 1st is "4x" cm.
And 3rd is "x" cm
------------------------
x + 2x + 4x = 224
7x = 224
x = 32 cm (3rd piece)
2x = 64 cm (2nd piece)
4x = 128 cm (1st piece)
