1/x (negivtive seven) thest problems are so difficult for me to understand so can you please help me ASAP!

Negative exponents:
To make the exponent positive, you would move the monomial into the denominator.

If it is already in the denominator, you would move it up into the numerator.

what is an exponent?
start with that
If you really get that down good, you'll do better
It just means- how many times do I multiply something by itself

Then ask- how do I write
you could calculate it with a calculator or in your head, but you
just want to write it with an exponent

then it's easy to multiply numbers with exponents
look at this

thats easy to see

but looking back at what I just said, must = 1
that's true
just add the exponents
that's another rule- anything like or or
anything with a zero exponent = 1
