What I have determined:
 
 
•	Television Ads = $3000 
•	Radio Ads =$2000 
•	Sixty (60) more television ads than radio ads. 
•	Total cost is $58,000 
now i need to solve, but don't know where to start or how to get going.

First let x be the amount of Radio Ads. 
THEN  (60 + x) is the amount of Television Ads. 
For every radio ad, $2000 is spent. 
For every television ad $3000 is spent. 
Total amount to be spent is $580,000. 
SOOO, off to the races. 
 
2000x PLUS $3000(60+x) =580,000 
2000x PLUS 180,000 PLUS 3000x=580,000
 
LET'S DIVIDE ALL BY 1000--KEEPING IT SIMPLE... 
2x + 180 + 3x =580 
5x=400
