You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the area of a kite is given by 1/2* d1 * d2
1/2 d1(d1+2)=40
1/2 d1^2+2d1 =40
d1^2+2d1=80
d1^2+2d1-80=0
d1^2+10d1-8d1-80=0
d1(d1+10)-8(d1+10)=0
(d1+10)(d1-8)=0
d1=8
d2=10
