Question 287789: How do I find the difference of this:
4/ (m+2) - 3m/ (m-3)
I know I have to find common
denominators but how do I do that?
Thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The final denominator will be (m+2)*(m-3)
4(m-3)/(m+2)*(m-3)-3m*(m+2)/(m+2)*(m-3)
(4m-12-3m^2-6m)/(m+2)*(m-3)
Believe it or not this is the final mess.
I think it looked better before we did anything.
(-3m^2-2m-12)/(m+2)*(m-3)
