Question 286555: I am trying to solve this word problem about buying a car. How do I set this up to solve?
After returning home to consider your options, you decide to see if a lease is a reasonable option, and if so what lease option is the best. Both of the dealers have identical lease options through the manufacturer. Leases are available for terms of 24 months to 72 months, in 3 month increments, for either of these two lease options. A ‘no down payment’ lease (Lease N) is available for the model you have decided on for $375 per month. Also, a ‘lower monthly payment’ lease (Lease L), is available for $300 per month, with a $3,375 down payment.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You said this is a word problem. Then why isn't it in that category?
But you haven't said what you are solving for.
What are you looking for?
You can't set up equations without knowing what you want!
You also haven't said anything about purchase? How can you decide if leasing is an option if you don't know the purchase details? Maybe outright buying is better.
You left out much important info.
What is your budget?
