SOLUTION: For the function f(p) an input of 2 yields an output value of 3. What value of p would you use to have f(9p) = 3? I'm not sure what to do here. If I was just solving for p in t

Question 286230: For the function f(p) an input of 2 yields an output value of 3. What value of p would you use to have f(9p) = 3?
I'm not sure what to do here. If I was just solving for p in the second function, I would just say it was 1/3, but I don't know what the first function means in reference to the whole problem. Any help would be really appreciated.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In the first statement, what is f(p)? 2? or 3?
What is p? 2? or 3?
And what is the full equation? How did you input 2 and output 3?
In f(9p)=3 what is the input and what is the output?
