You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for u.
-7(u – 3) = -3u + 17
---
-7u + 21 = -3u + 17
Add 7u to both sides:
Subtract 17 from both sides:
4u = 4
u = 1

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
ok we get, for starters, -7u+21=-3u+17,
-4u=-4
u=1
1 is the answer.
This is a basic problem. Review your Distributive properties. Look over adding and subtracting like terms.
You got some work to do, then this stuff will become more fun for you, trust me. Take care!!!!
