You can put this solution on YOUR website! What is it you want to remember?
y=mx+b
slope intercept
m=slope b= y intercept
What is the problem?
You can remember all kinds of stuff to play video games and remember songs but you can't put a little math in your head?
You can put this solution on YOUR website! There is no 'point-intercept', so you can forget that.
.
y = mx+b is the slope-intercept form. You can tell because you are given the slope, 'm', and the y-intercept, 'b'.
.
The other form is the point-slope form. You can tell this because you are not given the intercept or, by the process of exclusion, you know it is not the slope-intercept.
The point-slope form is
y-y1 = m(x-x1)
.
