The volume of a cube is given by V = s3. Find the length of a side of a cube if the Volume is 1000 cm3.
V= s^3 cubic units ----(1)where s is the length of the cube
Now given that the volume is
V= 1000 cm^3
=[(10)^3] cubic centimeters
Comparing with (1) we get s= 10 cms which is the required length.
