You can put this solution on YOUR website! Well, first you would put all those numbers into an equation. To do that you would say it allowed to yourself (or at least I always do). You know that 25, 15, 12, and x all added to getting is equal to 4 times 14.5 (just find the average backwards= take average and multiply it by your number of terms) so I hope you agree that all I just said can be written as 25+15+12+x=4(14.5).
Then, I would simplify it and add or multiply all that you know. Henceforth, you would add 25+15+12 together and then multiply 4(14.5). Your equation is now-
52+x=58
Now you have a simply one-step equation. From here you undo the addition (52+x) you would subract 52 from both sides and you end up with-
x=6
