4/3 ( 4x-2) - 2(3x+4)
While you seem to have solved it correctly, you must realise that the above equation evaluates to some value
i.e. 4/3 ( 4x-2) - 2(3x+4) = p where p is some value
Now if you are multiplying this equation by 3 then the value of p also needs to be multiplied by 3 thus giving you 3p as the answer
If you are multiplying by X on the Left Hand Side you also have to multiply by X on the Right hand side.
