Question 284300: The Question:
Put the following equation in slope intercept form 2x - 5y = 10.
The Answers:
x-y = (-2/5)x-2
y = (-2/5)x + 2
y = -2x + 10
y = (2/5)x -2
Please I don't know how to do slopes!
Thanks in advance:)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x+-+5y+=+10
slope intercept form is y+=+mx+%2B+b where m is the slope and b is the intercept.
You will want to know that form for a line, since it is used a LOT
2x+-+5y+=+10
-5y+=+-2x+%2B+10
y+=+%28-2%2F-5%29x+%2B+10%2F%28-5%29
y+=+%282%2F5%29x+-2
that is i the correct form
so m = 2/5
