You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Eqation:
75%2F%28x%2B5%29-75%2Fx%29=0.5
75[(x+5)-(x)=0.5[(x)(x+5)]
75%285%29=0.5%28x%5E2%2B5x%29
375=0.5x%5E2%2B2.5x
0.5x%5E2%2B2.5x-375=0

Use quadratic formula:
a= 0.5 b = 2.5, c = -375
x=%28-2.5%2B-sqrt%282.5%5E2-4%2A0.5%2A-375%29%29%2F%282%2A0.5%29
Simplfy x = -30 and x= 25
Remvoe the negative x = 25

Hence, about 25 people attendented the party.
