You can put this solution on YOUR website! set up a proportion
with a half tank 44 gal, the aircraft can travel 1500.2 miles
in a full tank 88 gal, the aircraft can travel 1500.2 * 2 or 3000.4 miles
so with 120 gal, the plane can travel...the following
3000.4 miles ? miles
------------ = ----------
88 gallons 120 gal
cross multiply
88?=360048
divide by 88
and you get aproximately 4091 miles. If this is a trick question, then the tank can not really hold 120 gallons of fuel.
