You can put this solution on YOUR website! Show the multiplication to help keep yourself straight...
6(2b+7)3 = 6 * (2b + 7) * 3
.
Since it doesn't matter what you multiply first, you can multiply what is outside the parentheses...
.
6 * (2b + 7) * 3 = 6*3 * (2b+7) = 18 * (2b + 7)
.
Now multiply that times what is inside the parentheses...
.
18 * (2b+7) = 18*2b + 18*7
.
Simplify..
.
18*2b + 18*7 = 36b + 126
.
Done
You can put this solution on YOUR website! You can rewrite this as: Multiply the 6 by the 3 to get: In the distributive property, the number on the outside of the parentheses is to multiply both terms on the inside of the parentheses and this can be expressed as: Now perform the indicated multiplications.
