Question 28216: What are the solutions to the equations
x(3x+1)(4x-1)=0
A) x=0 or x=3 or x=-4
B) x=0 or x=1/3 or x=-1/4
C) x=0 or x=-1/3 or x=1/4
D) x=0 or x=-3 or x=4
None of these seem to equal 0 when I calculate them? can you show me how?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! What are the solutions to the equations
x (3x + 1)(4x - 1) = 0
You have to set each term equal to 0
x = 0 3x + 1 = 0 4x - 1 = 0
Then you just solve the equations
x = 0
3x = -1
