You can put this solution on YOUR website!
what if i have a triangle that has a 53 degree angle and two sides that are 3 cm each. how can i solve for x

You have a case of side-angle-side, so you use the law of
cosines to find the third side:

x%5E2=3%5E2%2B3%5E2-2%2A3%2A3cos%28%2253%B0%22%29

x%5E2=9%2B9-18cos%28%2253%B0%22%29

x%5E2=18-18cos%28%2253%B0%22%29

x=sqrt%2818-18cos%28%2253%B0%22%29%29

x=2.677186879

If you have not yet studied the law of cosines, post again stating
that you have not had the law of cosines yet, for it can be solved
without using it.
