You cannot add radicals with different indexes, but you can multiply them which results in adding indexes.
Remember that sqrt%283%29+=+3%5E%281%2F2%29
so if you have 3%5E%281%2F2%29+%2A+3%5E%281%2F3%29+=+3%5E%283%2F6%29+%2A+3%5E%282%2F6%29+=+3%5E%285%2F6%29
Above, I have found the least common denominator in the indexes and multiplied the terms by adding the indexes.
