You can put this solution on YOUR website! solve 2x+48=10x
(-2x) +[2x+48] = (-2x) + 10x
Adding (-2x) from the left on both the sides.
[(-2x)+(2x)] + 48 = (-2x+10x)
0+48 = 8x
48 = 8x
Dividing by 8 on both the sides,
48/8= x
(6X8)/8 = x
6 = x
Answer: x = 6
Note: the above problem can be done orally.Transfer (2x) to the other side.
