Hello,
We know the area of the triangle is 1/2 times height times base so we can plug in the values given to get:
Area=1/2(36)(27) Do the calculation and we get:
Area=486 Sq yards
Make sense?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The length of one leg = 27 yards
THE LENGTH OF OTHER LEG = 36 yards
since it is a right triangle the sum of squares of the legs = hypotenuse ^2
27^2 + 36^2 = Hyp^2
729 + 1296=hyp^2
2025= hyp^2 ( take square root on both sides )
45 = hyp
The perimeter will be 27+36+45=108 yards
