Looking at it, i think you meant to type the following:

+1%2F%28%28r%2B1%29%28r-1%29%29+=+2%2F%28%28r-1%29%28r%2B2%29%29+
+1%2F%28r%2B1%29+=+2%2F%28r%2B2%29+
(r+2) = 2(r+1)
r+2 = 2r+2
2 = r+2
0 = r

so, answer is r=0
