You are asked to subtract 2 complex numbers. You have to subtract the real parts
separately from the imaginary parts. I don't know how far you are with
imaginary numbers, but subtract them like this:
2i+-+3i+=+-i
Now subtract the real parts
-5+-+9+=+-14
The answer is:
-14+-+i
