and 40 hours/day
4%2A5+=+20 days/month of work
Let x = monthly pay in dollars
(x/1 month ) x (1 month/4 weeks) x (1 week/5 days) x (1 day/40 hours) = x/(4 x 5 x 40) = x/800
Hourly, you earn (monthly pay)/800
If you earned $4,000/month, you make
4000%2F800 = $5/hr
