You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1 dollar coin =1.00
1 dime =.10
1 nickle =.05
total=$1.15
no other possibilities that i can find
since theres no change for a nickle there cant be any pennies,
since theres no change for a dime there are no more than 1 nickle.
since theres no change for a quarter there cant be 2 dimes and a nickle
since theres no change for fifty cents there cant be more than 1 quarter
since theres no change for a dollar there cant be more than 1 half dollar coin
so that leaves the dollar coin, a dime and a nickle.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since I don't have change for 50 cents, I can have
at the most 1 quarter.
I can have any number of dimes, and I still won't have
exact change for $1
If I have 7 or more dimes, I can't have any nickels at all,
since that would give me change for a dollar
And, since I don't have change for a dime, I'm allowed 1 nickel
If I don't have change for a nickel, I'm allowed 4 pennies
--------------------------------------------
The combination that seems to satisfy all these
conditions is
1 quarter
9 dimes
