If Bob can paint the house in 4 hours, then he can paint 1%2F4 of the house in 1 hour.
Working together, Jim & Bob can paint 1%2F6+%2B+1%2F4+=+5%2F12 of the house in 1 hour.
If they can paint 5%2F12 of the house in 1 hour, then they can paint the entire house in 12%2F5 hours.
12%2F5+=+22%2F5hours or...
