Hello,
When we cross multiply this 2x/5 = x^2 - 5x/5x we get:
10x^2=5x^2-25x Subtract 5x^2 from both sides to get:
5x^2=-25x Divide 5x into both sides to get:
x=-5
There we go. Plug in the answer to see if it works.
