You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Two men in towns 400 miles apart drive to a house on the line between their towns. They meet after 4 hours. What is the speed of each car if one of the cars is going 20 mph faster than the other car?
x = other car
20mph + x = one car

Distance = Rate x Time
400 miles = (20mph + x)(4 hours)
400 = 80 + 4x
320 = 4x
80 mph = x (other car)
20 + x = 100 mph (one car)
