You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A bottleneck due to an accident on a highway produces two lines of cars each having a length of 720 m. If the average distance between cars is 2.5m and the average length of a car is 3.5m , how many cars are there?
A 120 B 122 C 240 D 242
The length of car + gap = 6m
Total length of of the line = 720 m
720/6 = 120 cars in 1 line
so there will be 240 cars in both the lines.
