Value Equation::: 8a + 4c=52000 dollars

Adjust the 1st equation for elimination:
8a + 8c = 8*8000

Subtract the Value Equation from that and solve for "c":
4c = 64000-52000
4c = 12000
c = 3000 (# of children's tickets sold)
