Multiply. 8pq^2(2pq - 3p + 5q)
The method is multily the quantity outside(alongwith the sign) with each one of the quantities inside the bracket(along with the sign of course) and then add.
8pq^2(2pq - 3p + 5q)
= (8pq^2)(2pq)+ (8pq^2)(-3p)+ (8pq^2)(5q)
= 16p^2q^3 - 24p^2q^2 + 40pq^3
Note: while multiplying quantities with the same base,
write the base and add the powers.
And the rule for sign multiplication is :
Positive X positive = positive
negative X negative = positive
positive X negative = negative
negative X positive = negative
