This can be done as follows:
7x-4y=13
-7x+6y=-11 Add both of these to get:
2y=2 Divide both sides by 2 to get:
y=1 Now we can plug this answer into the original equation:
7x-4=13 Add 4 and divide both sides by 7 to get:
x=17/7
