Question 274902: The volume V of a gas varies inversely as the pressure P on it. The volume of the gas is 300cm(squared) under pressure of 27kg/cm(squared). Find an equation of variation.
I am clueless. I know y=k/n. But I feel I have a variable missing. Any help is appreciated allot!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The volume V of a gas varies inversely as the pressure P on it. The volume of the gas is 300cm(squared) under pressure of 27kg/cm(squared). Find an equation of variation.
_______________________
Volume can't be cm^2, it's cm^3 or cc
--------------
PV = k
Actually, PV = nRT, but if Temperature and the other factors are held constant, then k can be used.
