You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for S in the formula to obtain a formula expressing S as a function of P:
Here is the original formula: P = 5.1S - 1.2
I can't figure out how to "express S as a function of P"

Comment:
That just means "get S alone on one side of an equation".
-------
P = 5.1S - 1.2
5.1S = P + 1.2
S = (P+1.2)/5.1

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P+=+5.1S+-+1.2
Whatever I do to 1 side of this equation, I
have to do to the other side. Think of the
= sign as a balance point.
1st, I want to add 1.2 to both sides
P+=+5.1S+-+1.2%7D%7D%0D%0A%7B%7B%7B1.2+=+1.2
Adding, I get
P+%2B+1.2+=+5.1S+-+1.2+%2B+1.2
which is the same as
P+%2B+1.2+=+5.1S
Now I want to divide both sides by 5.1
%28P+%2B+1.2%29%2F5.1+=+%285.1%2F5.1%29%2AS
which is the same as
%28P+%2B+1.2%29%2F5.1+=+S
This is the answer. I can turn it around, and it doesn't change:
S+=+%28P+%2B+1.2%29%2F5.1
