f(x)=2x+4/3x^2+11x-42 --> f%28x%29=2x%2B4%2F3x%5E2%2B11x-42

I doubt that is the real function in your problem. Use parentheses when needed:

f(x)=(2x+4)/(3x^2+11x-42) = f%28x%29=%282x%2B4%29%2F%283x%5E2%2B11x-42%29

You are not tweeting your friend; you are asking for help with a math problem. Making your post as short as possible is not a good thing; it makes us guess what your question really is.

And take the time to actually ASK a question (a sentence with a question mark at the end).
