In this problem, with the series of numbers you can conclude that the pattern is half of every number following. Half of 80 is 40, half of 40 is 20 and so on. Well half of 5 is 2 and a half, divide two 2 and a half by 2, that equals 1.25. Your answer would be 5/4, because 5 divided by 4 equals 1.25.
