You can put this solution on YOUR website! to solve this i set it up as a proportion
I use (is/of) = (%/100)
1.) whatever comes after IS goes on top of the first fraction. (99)
2.) whatever comes after OF goes on the bottom of the 1st fraction. that is what we're finding swo just put x.
3.) set that equal to the %/100
4.) it should look like this 99 = 45
x 100
5.) now you just cross multiply.
6.) 99 x 100 = 45x
7.) 9900 = 45x
8.) divide by 45, x equals 220
45% of 220 is 99
(
