Question 272763: A right triangle has a 90 degree angle, and an angle x. What will the measure of the third angle be? I thought this was the answer, (180-90) +(180-x) +(180-x) but, I must explain it. I am not sure whether the answer was wrong or not and I do not know how to explain it. I would be grateful for assistance.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A right triangle has a 90 degree angle, and an angle x. What will the measure of the third angle be? I thought this was the answer, (180-90) +(180-x) +(180-x)
--------------
It's 90-x
------------
The 3 angles add to 180.
3rd angle = 180 - (90 + x) = 90-x
