A ball is dropped out of a window of a tall building. If it hits the ground 3.5 seconds later, how high above the ground is the window?
Falling bodies have the formula s= 1/2 * g*t^2 g = gravitational force , t= time, s = height from where it is falling
s= 1/2 * 9.8 m/sec^2 * ( 3.5)^2
s= 1/2 * 9.8 * 12.25
s= 60.02 meters
