Her bro = x
Her = 4x
In one year = x+1
and 4x+1

twice as old as he is:
2(x+1)=4x+1
2x+2=4x+1
-2x=-1
x=0.5

4(0.5)=2

Hence, Lynn is 2 years old and her brother is half a years old.
