You can put this solution on YOUR website!

-3x+1=-6(x-1)+4
Parenthesis FIRST (distribute)
-3x+1=(-6x+6) + 4
-3x+1=-6x+10
Add like terms (remember to change the sign when changing sides)
-3x+6x=10-1
3x=9
Divide by three
x=3
