I can't even begin to guess what this means. Please repost your question. If your problem involves logarithms with a base other than 10, enter something like
 base5 log(3) - base7 log(24)
 If you want to be really slick, type in three left braces, "{" then log(base, (argument)) and then three right braces, "}". This will make it look good and it will be easy for the tutors to understand.
