If you mean
x^2+2x-15 Then you need to reverse FOIL

(x )(x ) Will give you x^2
(x+5 )(x-3 ) WIll give you x^2+2x-15
When using reverse FOIL remember: What times what will give me -15 but added together will give me 2.
