You can put this solution on YOUR website! log 2x = log 3 + log (x - 4)

Adding logs the same as multiply
log(2x) = log(3(x-4))
:
log(2x) = log(3x-12)
therefore
2x = 3x - 12
+12 = 3x - 2x
12 = x
