Question 270368: I need to show the work and answer the problem But im a little stuck on nhow to do it.
angles A and B are complementary. Find m angle A and m angle B
1. measure of angle a = 3/4x - 13
measure of angle b = 3x -17
angle A and B are supplementary.
2. measure of angle A = 6x - 1
measure of angle B = 5x - 17

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I need to show the work and answer the problem But im a little stuck on nhow to do it.
angles A and B are complementary. Find m angle A and m angle B
1. measure of angle a = 3/4x - 13
measure of angle b = 3x -17
Since angles a and b are complementary a = 90 - b. So we have:
1.) 90 - b = 3/4x - 13
2.) b = 3x - 17
Substitute 3x - 17 for b from 2.) in 1.) giving:
90 - (3x - 17) = 3/4x - 13
Now you can solve for x then calculate a and b.
The second question is similar except the angles are supplementary so
a = 180 - b.
